Delivery and returns

I. PRODUCING 

Please beware that The Barclay Studio follows a made-to-order model in order to minimize its environmental footprint and reduce waste. Our mission is to create value by proposing mindful, handmade, local products. Since they are handmade, once the order is placed please take into consideration that depending on production time, your order will take from TWO to FOUR WEEKS to be produced and sent. 

II. SHIPPING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Please review our shipping policies and procedures before placing orders for merchandise made available on this WEBSITE. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense related to delays in shipment or delivery of merchandise. The risk of loss of, and title to, all merchandise purchased on this WEBSITE will pass to you upon our delivery of that merchandise to the carrier selected to deliver it.

The Barclay Studio is based in Barcelona, Spain. We ship internationally throughout the world. Shipping and handling charges are based on the items purchased and the delivery region.

III. PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY TIME

Delivery means the physical handing over of the Product to the customer (hereinafter the “Delivery”).

Products purchased on the WEBSITE can be delivered in SPAIN and abroad.

Shipping costs are based on weight, distance, and handling. We don’t make any profit on shipping, the price listed is either the actual cost or even slightly discounted.

  • Important! Each piece is made by hand on demand.  For this reason, in addition to the delivery time, you must add the manufacturing time which could be between two and four weeks depending on production.
  • Delivery time in Barcelona, please allow about 3-5 business days for your items to ship.
  • Delivery time period to rest of Spain, 4-7 business days for your items to ship.
  • International orders may take up 10-15 business days depending on the region.

IV. SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are based on weight, distance, and handling. We don’t make any profit on shipping, the price listed is either the actual cost or even slightly discounted.

Important: The exact price of the transport will be calculated by including each item in the shopping bag and will be detailed on the page that summarizes the purchase before the customer confirms the order by clicking on the ‘Confirm payment’ button and before the introduction of the payment details. Shipping costs can be changed at any time without prior notice. Said change will be applicable from the moment the modification is included in these Conditions of Sale. In any case, those shipping costs that appear at the time of order will be valid.

V. IMPORT DUTIES

Customers are responsible for all import duties and customs fees within their own country for international orders. The Barclay Studio is not able to predict or identify how long any order will take to arrive once it reaches customs in your specific country.

VI. DELIVERIES

To avoid incidents in the delivery (wrong addresses, inability to find someone at home, etc.), it is essential to correctly fill in the corresponding form.

Note that, it will not be possible to send orders to military bases or post office boxes.

The risk of the products will be borne by the customer from the moment of delivery. The shipment of the products purchased through the WEBSITE and Instagram will be made through a courier company and will be delivered within a period indicated on the WEBSITE according to the selected shipping method and, in any case, in the maximum term of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt of the Confirmation.
